Interstellar Sounds' brand-new 'My Record Box' function enables you to purchase and secure records, CDs and merchandise, and then have those items held by us until such time you are ready to have them despatched to you. This means that you can purchase further items at a later date and have everything despatched in one shipment at a time of your choosing, therefore saving you money on shipping costs!
How does 'My Record Box' work?
Place your order via the website in the usual way, selecting the 'Add to My Record Box' shipping option when you arrive at the Checkout. At this point you are only billed for the total of the items in your cart and no shipping rates are applied. Lastly, simply complete payment via your chosen payment method. The items that you order will be picked and held on our shelves until you are ready to have them despatched to you.
Simply repeat the above process for as many subsequent orders as you wish, until you are ready for us to ship all of your items. As soon as we receive your shipping request via email/contact form, we will provide a quote for the final shipping amount. You only ever pay one shipping fee for the total of goods ordered!
We are very conscious of shipping costs and always aim to ship via the most economical yet secure means available, appropriate to both your location and the value of your order, whether you are based in the UK or overseas.
When will I be charged?
Whether you select to pay via PayPal, credit/debit card or bank transfer you will be billed for any goods purchased using the 'My Record Box' facility at the time of placing your order.
When can I ship my items?
Whenever you choose! Simply submit an email/contact form request for us to despatch the items in 'My Record Box' and we will confirm your single shipping charge.
Do you ship 'My Record Box' purchases to anywhere in the world?
Yes, we can ship virtually any size of consignment to wherever you are in the world.
Are there any limits as to the number of items I can add to 'My Record Box'?
Currently there are no limits as to the number of items that may be added to 'My Record Box'.
Are there any limits as to how long items can be held for in 'My Record Box'?
Currently there are no limits as to the length of time that items can be held in 'My Record Box'.
Can I add pre-order titles to 'My Record Box'?
Yes, pre-order titles may be ordered in the same way as 'in stock' titles. Pre-order items will be picked and charged upon release and held on our shelves along with any 'in stock' items.
Can I add items that I may already have on pre-order to 'My Record Box'?
Yes, any outstanding pre-orders or back-orders may be added to My Record Box. Simply drop an email to us with your request and we'll take care of everything.
How can I check which items I have ordered?
Simply log in to your account and check your orders marked with the 'My Record Box' status.
Can I spend my gift voucher on items for 'My Record Box'?
Can I change my mind once I have added an item to 'My Record Box'?
Yes, of course. We reserve the right to charge a small restocking fee (5%) on any cancellations.
Please note that this is a new service and we reserve the right to make changes or additions to the above terms at any time without notice, however you will not be billed for any additional or unexpected charges in addition to those as already outlined above.
