BACK IN STOCK - LAST COPIES! The long, long, long out of print and hard-to-find Elecktroids 'Kilohertz' EP. First came Drexciya, then came the Elecktroids... surrounded by mystery at the time of its initial release, alongside the accompanying long-player 'Elektroworld', these two releases appeared on Warp somewhere between the last great releases on Underground Resistance and the later Seven Storms series of conceptual albums. As was/is often the case with any Drexciya-related project the exact identity of the artists involved was shrouded in secrecy, and whether this particular project was the work of Donald and Stinson as a duo, or indeed one or the other as solo is arguably still open to debate. What we can say however, and likewise for anyone unfamiliar, the styles on Kilohertz lay somewhere between Drexciya and Japanese Telecom - raw, rhythmic and quite at home on the dancefloor. Sinfully out-of-print for over two decades this EP now sees a welcome return via Clone's Aqualung series and includes a bonus track that was not available on the original release. Essential electro history.
