Astro Chicken… has landed! We are a new label from Düsseldorf (Germany) specializing in timeless and fresh-sounding electro music. We feel right at home in the vastness of space, in the air of eighties synth-pop and in the playful, warm atmosphere of classical disco music. Our first release is a compilation consisting of four tracks by four separate artists on heavy twelve inch, yellow vinyl:

Hyboid – 'Vogon Poetry'... Hyboid invites you to his spacecraft and takes you on a ride to his home quadrant. It’s a world populated by strange creatures that we all know from TV shows of our childhood days.

Starlight Hammer Sounds – 'Turrican 2'... Starlight Hammer Sounds delivers his homage to the computer game soundtracks of the eighties. His interpretation of the 'Turrican 2' title track is purely futuristic, catchy and fresh-sounding power pop.

Telebot – 'Disco Dump'... Telebot is our synthesizer freak. Using finest vintage analogue gear he comes up with true classical Disco music that is both polished and sophisticated. With “Disco Dump” he takes his old school philosophy right to the spot.

Sternrekorder – 'Geh lieber nie'... Sternrekorder is a master of dreamy and nostalgic Synth Pop. With ease he creates wonderful melodies that take us back to a time when electronic music was still so playful and innocent.
