The second subliminal release from the Other Heights imprint and this time we are spoiled by a true feast of overwhelmingly beautiful pieces from relative newcomers to the scene such as Ohrwert and Mohlao, alongside completely new names, Zoltan Solomon, Spaceci, MaCu, Giriu Dvasios and Weight and Treble. The perfectly amicable prelude by Spaceic is preparation for what lies further within, as Remote_ and Mohlao instantly propel the tone still deeper. Outstanding stuff undeniably. Further tracks from Ohrwert, Giriu Dvasios and Weight and Treble are more typically dub and very strong pieces within this style, before the tangent changes once again to the more abstract for works from Zoltan Solomon, Helix and MaCu. A truly dazzling array of emotionally driven electronic music for the twenty-first century, we can only await further Other Heights projects with keen anticipation.
