LIMITED REPRESS! This rare, early EP from Theo, transforms Donald Byrd's classic jazz funk piece, 'Lansana's Priestess', into the awesomely sweet, chugging groove of 'Early Byrd'. Also includes the original version of 'Walking Thru the Sky' and 'Lake Shore Drive', which also saw a release on Moodymann's label, KDJ. Limited press, originally on Elevate, now credited to Sound Signature. One of Theo's best!
